Hey, it's Carrington. I am a co-author for Ware the Milk Rabbit. The Pens of John Paul II creative writing club was a completely great experience! It isn't very often that a grade 12 student like me gets to partake in creating a 400 page novel and have it physically in my hands. When I first saw the book sitting in front of me, I was so excited, all of our groups work has become a reality and we get to share the story we made together with all types of people! My favourite part of creating Ware the Milk Rabbit would have to be when everyone got together and brainstormed ideas in order to come up with what a chapter would be about.
I am also looking forward to fully reading our story and seeing how and what the others wrote in their chapters, since we all focused on certain ones. I am really thankful for this opportunity, I have enjoyed it a lot. I hope that more students will be making novels through the Pens of John Paul II to continue and build a legacy, no matter their experience within the writing industry.
